What is the Amazing Trees of Charlottesville Project?
Amazing Trees of Charlottesville is a project of Blue Ridge Discovery Center (BRDC). The goal of the project is to spread an awareness of trees, the benefits they provide us humans, and the diversity we have here in the city. Our hope is to give the public a unique opportunity to share their favorite trees!
Who?
You! We will work to include everyone interested, including individuals, private and public schools, clubs, families, and friends. Exploring trees is great fun, and creates incredible learning opportunities for everyone!
Where?
The City of Charlottesville. Your yards, parks, streets, forests, ...downtown, uptown, all around!
Why?
To provide the public with fun and interesting ways to learn about trees. To get the Cville community actively engaged with the trees around them. To spread an awareness of the amazing parks in our city.
